Most examining ophthalmologists agree the number of affected collies carrying two genes is around 85%. All of Josie's babies will be normal eyed.
Josie also has a MDR1++ rating for drug sensitivity, which means she is normal/normal. She does not carry the mutation or will she pass it on to her offspring. Approximately 3 out of every 4 collies in the U.S. have the mutant MDR1 gene.
